SAT32PC

The program is designed to control your rig as well as AZ-EL Rotors.  A  functional demo is available.

Getting the program to work with the IC-9100 was a challenge but thanks to a walk through by Stefan, VE4NSA, I was able to get the program working.

From IC-9100 Menu (hold down to activate, up down arrows to navigate, VFO dial to select)

#60 CI-V Baud Rate, set to 192000

#61 CI-V Address, note but do not change unless necessary.

First step is getting the Radio Setup screen under setup.

Select the correct port for your radio, in my case port 5

Then select the baudrate box and set to 19200

Select your rig’s address by using the up/down arrows beside the Address OK box. When the correct address appears, click the Address OK box.  And click Store to keep the configuration.

If your radio seems sluggish on updating the Doppler change the interval settings to zero for both modes.  You may have to do this for each satellite.

There is a nice time synchronization program located in programs dropdown.

Selecting Accy will bring up a box that shows when your list of satellite will appear.

Using the ISS Program

If you run the ISS program it will default to the VHF channel pairs.  Unfortunately the IC-9100 cannot deal with that pair, only pairs in different bands.  Your radio will receive the downlink channel and you will note that VFO-2 will blink.  The Doppler corrected uplink frequency will appear in the menu box.  Keying the radio will transmit the corrected uplink frequency.
