When I got this rig, shipped from Woodbridge, Virginia from Ham Radio Outlet I was immediately disappointed by the really poor sounding speaker audio in comparison to other radios I’ve owned.  However after going through the manual several times I found the solution in the M2 bank, TCON where you can set base and treble.  Now it sounds much better. Default is terrible, be warned.

Digital Setups (and letdowns)

I don’t know why the hand mike has a hook instead of a knob like just about every other mike.  Anyway thanks to WA4SCA at the yahoo group these folks have them. (Scroll down)

I had to replace my computer with a newer HP EliteDesk SFF 800G and cannot get WSJT-X to work right
